Jewish Family Service is an accredited, licensed, non-sectarian, non-profit agency that provides support and community services to assist people in facing life’s challenges regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or economic situation. Whether you are caring for an aging parent, going through a difficult transition, have concerns about your child, or would just like to talk about an issue concerning you, our professional, caring staff is here for you.

Jewish Family Service provides comprehensive social service to the community-at-large regardless of religion, ethnic background, sexual orientation, disability or economic situation.

• The elderly receive comprehensive assistance, enabling them to maintain their independence.
• Children and adolescents achieve emotional health through play therapy, as well as individual or family counseling.
• Teens are assisted through workshops that address the specific issues that confront them in these challenging years.
• Individuals, couples and families who are undergoing transitions or life’s daily stresses participate in Family Life Education programs, which offer support groups, educational programs and life- enhancement seminars.
• Older adults seeking employment avail themselves of our Employment and Training Program and computer courses.
• Area residents experiencing financial difficulties receive food and personal care items from our Kosher Food Pantry. Limited emergency assistance is available to families in need as well.
• Families who cannot otherwise afford to send their children to Jewish day or overnight camps receive assistance to make their children’s dreams come true.
