The House Committee is chaired by Josh Lander and is responsible for the security and management of the physical structure of the synagogue and its properties.

In 2009 the committee is focused on energy conservation.  Read more about the Greening of Beth El.

In addition to ensuring the day to day upkeep, maintenance and operation of the Congregation’s buildings the committee is also responsible for evaluating, planning, budgeting and recommending long range improvements.

The committee also serves as a resource to families planning events at the synagogue, such as Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Weddings.

Supporting the work of the House Committee is the Beautification Committee that is chaired by Ali Hurwitz.  Ali’s group works to improve the aesthetics of the schul.
