Gift & Simcha Shop
The Gift & Simcha Shop of Congregation Beth EI benefits our synagogue community in two very important ways.
First, we are always available and ready to help with all of your ritual and gift-giving needs. We help congregants find just the right piece of Judaica for a special simcha, and keep an ever-changing inventory of fabulous gifts and Judaic items. We have helped our customers order everything from the talit or yad for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, to a special hanukkiah. We take requests and orders. We also shop for our items year round, at trade shows, by catalog, and through direct relationships with trusted vendors.
Secondly, the money we raise goes directly to defraying costs that help make synagogue events more special, more lavish, or more high end, while still staying on budget. A recent example: sponsoring the Luncheon at the special kiddush to honor challat and chatan bereshit at Simchat Torah. We are also able to defray the cost of the New Member welcome gift the congregation sends when a new family joins.
Visit us in the synagogue lobby on Sunday mornings when Religious School is in session. For special requests or to make an appointment please contact Nancy Oberst or Hilary Shaefitz through email.
